The i2Systems team designs and builds advanced lighting modules concentrating on wellness, energy efficiency, and high-quality illumination of North America's premier spaces.
The Production team brings all the hard work of each department together in building our LED lighting systems in a highly collaborative environment.
What to Expect:
As the Production Supervisor in our P rinted Circuit Board A ssembly (PCBA) department, you will be responsible for leading the manufacturing team, including planning and assigning work, implementing policies and procedures, and recommending operations improvements.
You will also be called upon to actively participate in the following processes:
interviewing, review process, and continuous improvement processes.
What you'll Do:
Actively lead the PCBA team by planning, assigning work, producing customer orders, and meeting daily productivity goals.
Manage attendance and PTO scheduling.
Manage work order maintenance through the production work cycle.
Understand and demonstrate operational knowledge of production equipment and their capabilities.
Support the Quality department, assisting with the Red-Tag process and Field Return process.
Efficiently communicate with Material Handlers to ensure material is staged and ready before needed.
Ensure all company policies and procedures are implemented as directed.
Ensure all equipment is being utilized for proper order fulfillment and optimal shop floor efficiency.
Support and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Promptly communicate with Maintenance Manager and Engineering when equipment requires service or repair.
Train employees on equipment and participate in cross-training program as instructed.
Immediately address, report, and document any safety or quality issues to Production Manager and Quality Manager.
Maintain a clean and safe work.
Ensure lot tractability is followed in all areas.
Ensure a safe work environment.
What you'll Bring:
High school diploma; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Three or more years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Good computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
